Chewing off the gum

Gobs of chewing gum are ugly and spoil our pavements, so our cleansing team have recently been blitzing the streets with a steam cleaner as the most effective way of getting rid of it.

From Tolpuddle Street to City Road, Studd Street to St John's Street, our team has been on a rolling programme of cleansing and washing to gouge off the unsightly globs of gum, and freshen up the sticky pavements with fragranced detergents from Angel BID’s Euromec machines.
