Apply to be Islington’s first green giant

Is your business doing its bit for the environment?
Are you making changes to cut your carbon emissions?
Then your business could be Islington’s first Giant Green champion.

Islington Council are looking to recognise and reward local businesses passionate about doing their bit for the environment. You might be encouraging more sustainable forms of travel for your deliveries or employees, minimising waste, maximising recycling, or generally adapting your organisation to take into account the effects of climate change.

Whatever you’re doing, make sure you’re considered for Islington’s Giant Green award scheme which not only identifies the borough’s best eco-companies and champions their work, but encourages others to beat their efforts, making the borough better for all. An expert panel will select the winners who will be announced at a Gala Award Ceremony to be held at the prestigious Royal Artillery Company in the city on Monday 2 June 2008.
