Gas main replacement - A1 Islington High Street from outside Angel tube station to Duncan Street

We have been notified that Nat. Grid Gas is planning to carry out gas main replacement works at the above location.

The works will be carried out in two stages consecutively.

Stage 1: Both southbound and northbound will be reduced to one lane each direction.
The loading/unloading and disabled bays outside No. 9 to No. 23 on Islington High Street will be suspended during the Stage 1 works. A Temporary Traffic Order (TTO 66) is in place to cover the suspensions.

Works to commence from 0930 hrs on Monday 20th July and continue for approximately three weeks.

Stage 2: Part of the southbound bus lane at the junction of Duncan Street will be closed to facilitate the works.
Works to commence after completion of Stage 1and continue for appropriately five weeks.
