Angel BID is taking action to improve our town centre environment in terms of additional cleansing, making it more attractive and keeping it that way.
Cleansing is one of the key components of the BID as it affects all Angel businesses.
We are delivering the following services
Cleaner pavements after deep cleaning and pavement jet-washing
We are making sure the BID area’s pavements, bus stops and bins are cleaner with our programme of deep cleaning and regular jet washing. We are committed to an annual gum removal programme at identified sites to ensure that this unsightly problem is minimized.
Cleansing Actionline – just a call away
If you’re not getting a response from the council, call us with any incidents of dumped rubbish bags, A-boards obstructing the footway, graffiti, fly-posting, illegal trading, abandoned supermarket trolleys and general debris that the council hasn’t dealt with and we’ll try our best to tackle it quickly. Graffiti removal service to clean up the Angel
Our improved graffiti removal service will help clean up the Angel, including defacing of signposts and street furniture. Offensive graffiti will be removed within 24 hours and the service will also deal with fly posting and unsightly stickers.
Clearing up the rubbish
Angel BID is working with the council’s area waste street environmental team to improve the cleaning of the BID area through education, enforcement and effective monitoring.
