David first came to Islington over 40 years ago. Having trained as a modernist artchitect with James Stirling and Colin St.John Wilson, he now has a reputation as a conservation architect.

David believes that good architecture in ordinary circumstances improves the world. He has been involved in many local organisations making sure the environment is both preserved and improved to better the quality of people’s lives, including Islington Council Conservation Advisory Committee, Islington Building Preservation Trust (Chair), Islington Council Planning Advisory Committee, and the Islington Society (vice chair).

David has been part of the ATCMG board since it began in 2000 and looks forward to further involvement in helping improve the environment for businesses, visitors and residents alike in the Angel BID area.
